One of the hundreds of children of Lilith that managed to escape the daily slaughter of her siblings when she fell for the whispers of the Grand President of Hell, Malphas. Known as the dragon-fire enslaver of the Ninth Circle; Vera was raised by Malphas as his surrogate heir to spread foul deceit and eviscerate the souls of anyone who befell her temptations. During her reign, she commanded nine legions of damned angels until she discovered Malphas' designs to use her power begotten from Lilith to usurp the Kings above him. In the human era of raining fire, she was banished from her father's halls for refusing the continued conquest of infirm and vulnerable souls, and instead placed a ward around the asylum that she was commanded to reap from. Forcibly ascended to the mortal realm for her betrayal and having her power sealed by Malphas, she wandered cities and small hamlets alone, seeking her place among humanity for decades.In modern times, Vera dwells within a pocket dimension within the Ninth Circle of her own creation known as "The Vale", protecting friends and allies who preferred the solace and quiet there over the bustle of todays' civilization.

The Vale

The Vale itself is an expansive forest of wisteria, jacaranda and weeping higan trees bathed in perpetual twilight, surrounding a small village and an immense Victorian-Gothic style mansion filled with customized rooms to each of the home's denizens. These residents are signed into Vera's personalized Ars Goetia and granted a small seal on their neck that grants them her protection from both the human realm and the Ninth Circle in which they hide. These residents are known as Ryujiin.Vera has a single familiar, created prior to The Vale in an attempt to ease her loneliness, named Dr. Livingston (after a doctor she'd briefly bonded with in the asylum she protected). He is a black cat-dragon with eyes mimicking a sunset and while he doesn't speak often, it's usually with dry wit and sarcasm. His only love is soft blankets, which are strewn all over the mansion as a consequence.

I'm a self-taught artist that began my journey in 2013 when I first stumbled across the concept of fandom. Since then, I've pursued different artstyles and expanding my library of techniques, and have found my passion for character design in the VTubing and Anime communities.
